The Switch

Well, this is farewell. It's been great, but Feli Kiwi's blog has found a new home. It's brighter and better. There are more features for my beloved readers and always something to read and/or do. I'm satisfied with the change, until of course, I change my mind and change something around. You as the reader can always let me know what's on your mind.

There won't be any new material on this blog page after this entry. I'm just writing this as notification for the purpose of directing you to the right place. The new blog home is at Mundo Indie
Let me know if you like, what you'd like to see, what you may not want to see, any suggestions you may have and so on and so forth. From our launch event ad opportunities to our fashion photo journal, we've got enough material to keep you tuned. In the meantime, please enjoy the new look and space of Feli Kiwi's online headquarters!

See you there!

Superb Savings

The holiday season is finally here and folks are searching for deep sales and reasonable, beyond reasonable prices. I know because I'm one of them. Having said that, it's a little difficult for the indie market because our products are handmade. For the most part, we indie designers don't have warehouses filled with merchandise. For example, my company practices made-to-order with most of our items. That means whatever you may purchase gets that much love and work put into it; you get a custom-fitted product.
We are aware of the economy and although none of us want to fall victim to it, that can't be helped. Handmade work is worth quite a bit, but Feli Kiwi is sensitive to the current situation because we're apart of it.
We are promoting ongoing sales on the site that you'll enjoy, especially for the quality and care we offer that you're unlikely to find with major retailers. Along with Feli Kiwi (because we don't deserve all the glory), there are other indie designers who are offering deals for the holidays or other theme promotions.

Cute Creatures!

These are the most gorgeous puppies I've seen in my life! I almost want to take one home, but my love for dogs isn't that great--but they're gorgeous! This ties into fashion by way of doggie apparel. Get your gear ready, whether you're buying it from Cafepress.com/FeliKiwi or constructing it yourself (which is cost effective and more creative). There are 7 left and they are going faster than I thought, so let me know if you'd like to purchase one! They're especially great for a holiday gift--perfect! Email me your inquiry and we take it from there! Besides, I'd rather they go directly to a loving home as opposed to a pound......No. Send me a word.....

New Look

Change is good! I wasn't really feeling the previous look I had before. It wasn't business enough for me; didn't have that magazine finish with a Feli Kiwi twist to it. I discussed it with a confidant and ultimately decided to evolve. Besides, you have to keep it fresh. Whether it's changing fonts or changing templates. Now it has that magazine finish with a Feli Kiwi twist to it. Now I'm satisfied--until, of course, I may possibly get bored with this one. for now, this will definitely do. The key phrase here is to keep it fresh! I'm off now to do some more work....

Celebrate Inform Empower Love

I know you're probably wondering what in the world that's coming from. Truth is, those words compiled is the theme of my new blog page. Don't worry, this one's not going anywhere. Here, I cater to my fashion industry and those who make it what it is. At the new blog, I'm dedicating some time online to help do just that: celebrate, inform, empower and love. It doesn't matter where she's from or who she is because our first role in life is as a woman. I'm very excited about this cyber adventure and hope you will join me on my quest to infinite greatness.

Blog Previews

Everyday, I'm coming up with ideas to keep my readers interested and stimulated.  So far, I've created a few daily contents, topics that will be standard and covered often.
Motherhood Madness is important to me because it gives us moms, single and married alike, an opportunity to vent or discuss certain issues that we deal with.  We'll relate to most, if not all, situations that will be posted.  I'd like you to submit your stories to cielblog@live.com and I'll try to post as many as possible.  Only stories that you want posted should be submitted and it's your choice if you want to reveal your name or use a different name.  In fact, I'll be posting some stories of my own for various reasons.  Sometimes talking to a stranger can produce better results, sometimes reading instead of oral venting is therapeutic.  Start sending in those emails and let's talk.

Crazy Lazy is my favorite for the moment because I know firsthand what it's like to not want to do something and the results might be crazy, who knows.  I'll be submitting a Crazy Lazy that's gonna make you laugh.  Now we could all talk about our lazy moments and not worry about someone passing judgment because we've all been there!  It's alright, we promise not to--unless it's something totally morbid.......just kidding!  Submit your lazy stories to cielblog@live.com.

Fall Recreation: Paint the Town Red

Well, we're trying to adjust to the fact that summer is officially over.  It's a bit depressing because we can't show off our bare knees and elbows and sport our back-out tops--but it's okay! I've got the remedy for the post-summer blues.  I had fun just compiling all this information for you.
Who would've known city tours would be so cool?  Checking out movie locations of I Am Legend and Spiderman?  Riding by the homes of celebrities?  No stalking allowed!  For under $50, you're able to do that and more!  New York TV and Movie Sites Tour provides these features.  Plus, most of their buses have bathrooms so no one has to hold up the bus and you get instant relief straight to the back.
This next activity literally gave me goosebumps.  Don't be afraid if you have the same reaction.  How does having a New York City Party Pass sound?

I just thought I might share some information with my fellow fashionistas (and for that matter, fashionistos) involving--what else?--fashion! For next to nothing prices on high end designs, you might want to check out Hautelook.com! Let me know what you think about the insane deals!

Back in Business

It feels soooooo good to be back online! I've been away for quite some time--longer than I anticipated. While I was gone, things have changed. My webhosting company being one. After a dreadful period with a not-so-updated host, I spent quite a bit of time searching and researching various companies. Some had everything I needed and wanted too much or nothing I needed for the right price. Ultimately, I chose the very same company I called BBB on. How ironic! Nevertheless, I'm up and running. FeliKiwi.com will soon follow as soon as I deal with the politics. In the meantime, FeliKiwi.Spreadshirt.com and Cafepress.com/FeliKiwi are still active. You can get Feli Kiwi with an urban twist at the Spreadshirt link and accessories at the Cafepress link. I've got loads of work to catch up on, so I'll be back later!
